I’m jumping in with my first ever Top 5 Wednesday! Okay, technically I’m cheating since it’s already Thursday over here but hey, it’s Wednesday somewhere in the world, right? Here are some of my favourite SFF Cover Art, in no particular order!
Study Series by Maria V. Snyder
Oh man. Look at these covers. They’re simple and yet so, so enchanting. They aren’t available over here but thankfully, I have a friend living in Australia who purchased the next two books for me because I was that desperate to get them (shoutout to Carmelia heh).
Also I’m just gonna shove the Avry of Kazan series in here as well because it has an equally gorgeous set of covers:
Uprooted by Naomi Novik
Sadly, I don’t have the version of this cover because again, it’s unavailable in my country. The version I do have is wonderfully charming, but goddamn it, how gorgeous is this?!
Six of Crows & Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo
Do I need an explanation?
Brandon Sanderson Books
So far, I’ve only read one Sanderson book: Warbreaker. I read an ebook version and I loved it so much, I wanted to get a physical copy too. Unfortunately, like my dilemma with Uprooted, the version I wanted isn’t available where I live. But these covers are gorgeous enough that I’ll probably order them online and have them shipped when I have enough money to.
The Invisible Library Series by Genevieve Cogman
There was something about these covers that caught my eye. Similar to the Poison Study books, the Invisible Library covers are simple but elegant. It was the reason I decided to pick the first book up. Though I haven’t gotten around to reading them just yet, this set is definitely a nice addition to my shelf!
Top 5 Wednesday is a weekly meme hosted by Sam (Thoughts on Tomes) and created by Lainey (gingerreadslainey) on Goodreads. Interested? Join in the fun!
